Meet the Team (Small but mighty)

Hillside Studio is a Brand Agency founded by creative Sophie Booth. After graduating from Falmouth University, working for a range of creative agencies from Liverpool to London, she began Hillside after the birth of her daughter.

After working in the industry for nearly a decade, Sophie has had experience developing brands, campaigns, art directing and working on a wide span of creative projects for some big household names; such as RIBA, Sky, Sony, Dixon Carphone, Miller & Carter, All Bar One, as well as many exciting start-ups.

How we work

We start with meaning, not visuals. Before colour, type, or logos, we find the meaning and purpose behind the project. Asking things like ‘What do you believe in? What problem are you really here to solve? What kind of business are you not interested in becoming?’. But why is this important you ask?

In a world of AI everything, it’s more important than ever to stay true to what makes us human. Whilst the forefront of tech is more exciting than ever, we believe brands should also be nurturing the yearn for meaningful experiences and connections. Your purpose, is what gets you out of bed in the morning, your unique point of view, what makes you passionate, what gives your brand reason and soul. And that my friends, is what makes your brand ‘human’.
